Odyssey of the Mind Tournaments would not happen without help from our judges and volunteers.  Judges and volunteers have the opportunity to see student creativity and problem solving at its best and participate at a fun and exciting learning event.  Judges are an integral part of any tournament and we strive to provide teams with the best possible competition conditions.  Therefore, it is VITAL that every judge attend this training and tournament.

According to the Florida Odyssey of the Mind Standing Rules:

  • Any team not providing a judge or worker by the designated deadline (01/16/2018) may be assessed a $100.00 fine to be paid prior to the award ceremony.
  • If a team’s designated judge or worker does not report for duty at the designated time and place on the day of the tournament, that team may receive a 25 point spirit of the problem penalty.
    • The Problem Captain will notify the director or their appointee that the spirit of the problem penalty has been assessed.
